The Dubai Mall hosts Treasure Hunt at Gold Souk
The Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations, has launched a Treasure Hunt promotion at its Gold Souk, a sprawling indoor gold and jewellery shopping centre with inimitable Arab design and architectural features.
Until April 5, visitors to the mall can take part in a free-to-enter raffle draw to win prizes.
Visitors are only required to explore the Gold Souk and find the five chosen icons that are permanent fixtures in its passages and complete the competition entry form, which can be collected from any Gold Souk retailer or any Guest Service Desk around the mall. The completed forms are to be placed in a raffle barrel located near the Gold Souk Treasury Dome. The draw will be held shortly after the promotion and winners will be contacted directly.
Mr Yousif Al Ali, General Manager, The Dubai Mall, said:
‘The Gold Souk in The Dubai Mall is a big draw among visitors not only for the diversity of gold and jewellery on offer by the over 200 stores but also for its elegant décor. By focusing the promotion on the Gold Souk, we want more visitors to appreciate the elegant collection of gold and jewellery products offered for sale, and also relax in the unique ambience that is reminiscent of old world Arab souks.’
The campaign will be further supported by roaming Arabic-themed entertainment until April 4, 2009. Visitors will be offered the opportunity to take photographs with falcons at the Treasury Dome as a souvenir. Henna artists, Arabic music and calligraphy demonstrations are other highlights.
With over 800 of its total 1,200 retail outlets already open, The Dubai Mall has established itself as a premier retail destination in Dubai. The mall also offers diverse leisure choices including the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo and Dubai Ice Rink. Several other leisure attractions including KidZania and SEGA Republic - two theme parks for children and family - and a 22-screen REEL Cineplex will open shortly.
The Dubai Mall is developed and managed by Emaar Malls Group, the shopping malls subsidiary of Emaar Properties.
