10 - 12 new McDonald’s restaurants in 2009 across the Emirates

Aiming at more convenience to its customers across the Emirates, and as part of the company’s 2009 expansion plan that foresees 10 - 12 new branches across the Emirates, McDonald’s UAE opened its 6th restaurant this year - 65th restaurant overall - in Oasis Center on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Commenting on the new restaurant opening, Rafic Fakih, Managing Director, McDonald’s UAE said, ‘At McDonald’s, we believe that convenience to customers goes beyond our operations inside the store, which alters our choice of location in a way that serves them best. Today, our 65 restaurants are suitably located to serve our customers across the Emirates.’

The McDonald’s Oasis restaurant brings the number of branches up to 65, after the opening of 5 other branches in Dubai Marina Mall (Dubai), Safeer Mall (Ras Al Khaimah), Arabian Center (Al Khawaneej -Dubai), Kuwaitat (Al Ain), and Emirates Coop (Al Mizhir 2 - Dubai), since the beginning of 2009.
